Soleil
2016 14.1h Paint/QH
Soleil is a compact, catty little horse. She’s schooling walk/canter, counter canter, and flying lead changes.
She LOVES to jump. She has attended local hunter shows, some dressage shows (Training/First Level), Combined Tests and XC schoolings. Soleil is most regularly jumping around 2’9 due to her age still, but has plenty of scope and schooled 3’6 a few times! She would be perfect for a teen to finish or even an experienced Equestrian Mom to eventually share with her kids. This little mare could go is a Can Do kind of pony and just super fun! Lower 5s sale or lease options.

Basic pricing guide for a sound horse/pony, assuming no major quirks and decent temperament, and under 20 Years old.
$1-2k: Trail type horse or a very green project horse. Has the basics of WT at least and can be kicked into canter but maybe not with reliable leads. Stays straight on trail and should stop. Might steer.
$3-5k: good basics. Will WTC with both leads and a little more education. Should be relatively safe compared to the rider level it needs. Good trail horse or quality for local shows. Some experience at shows or events and has been hauled off farm for exposure. May be on the younger side (under 5) with potential to advance, or on the older side (over 15), with more experience and possibly needing small maintenance.
$5-8k: WTC with both leads, quick simple lead changes, and some lateral movement. Ability to rate gaits. Placing consistently at local shows, or younger/green with potential to move up.
$10k+: advanced training, ability to jump/show above 2’6, Dressage Training above 1st Level, considerably “safe”, exceptional potential, excellent breeding, or quality to show at a rated level.

15.2h Saddlebred Sold 2015 “I thought I would let you know that Denali (aka Shadow the Saddlebred) and I are doing well. It's been over 4 years since I purchased him from you and we've become great partners. He's a wise old dude and just what I needed to enjoy riding at this age. So my birthday wish for you is to continue to pair the right horse with the right rider making happy and safe partners. I thank you for Denali and we both wish you a happy birthday.” |
