Longshot Stables Horse Camp

June 21st -26th
We are renting stabling and retreat facilities at Greenview Bible Camp to host our advanced Horse Camp! Arrival is after dinner on Sunday June 21st and camp ends late on Friday June 26th. Camp includes 3 meals a day and an evening dessert/snack before bedtime. Campers bring their own horse for the week. Activities will include a daily riding lesson, lessons on care/horsemanship, training our horses on the obstacle course, and trail rides.
We are “giving back” to the camp by assisting with afternoon riding sessions as well as training camp-owned horses. This keeps the cost significantly lower than most weekly overnight camps as well as teaches our students the skills of working with younger children.
During the week, extra activities may include archery, canoeing, crafts, and swimming.
We have a very limited number of horses to lease for the week. Each camper will be responsible for 100% of their horse’s daily care.

Camp is limited to Intermediate+ riders, over 10 years old, that are comfortable cantering in a group and riding in unfenced spaces.
